Seared Tuna with Lemon Peppered Asparagus

What you will need:

For the Tuna
2 medium Sashimi grade Ahi Tuna Steaks
2 tablespoons almond oil or olive oil
1 Lemon, juiced
1 teaspoon toasted white sesame seeds
1 teaspoon toasted black sesame seeds
Black Pepper to taste

For the Asparagus 
1 bunch Asparagus
1/2 tablespoon Butter
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, mashed
Salt and lemon pepper to taste

Lets get cooking:
Your Tuna:
Rinse Tuna under cold water and let drain.
Preheat skillet until hot
With a pastry brush, baste tuna with almond oil and Lemon juice. 
Sprinkle lightly with salt and Pepper
Add remaining oil to skillet
Place Steaks in hot skillet
Cook 2-3 minutes on each side for rare
On a dish place your sesame seeds
Once steaks are done, coat edges with sesame seeds

Your Asparagus:
Cut your asparigus stalks to desired lenght
Wash under cool water, pat dry
In a saute pan on medium heat, add butter and oil, until butter has melted
Add garli, salt and lemon pepper
Continue to saute about 5 minutes, or until fork tender

A good chilled sake, or if using the less expensive types then serve hot

Haiku or Gekkeikan Sake are both good
