Recipe - Champagne Distingué Framboise

Come quickly, I am tasting the stars! ~ Dom Perignon, at the moment he discovered champagne

What you will need:

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup fresh raspberries

1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine

*Someone to share it with

Here we go:

Chill your champagne flutes (will make approximately 6 servings)

In a small saucepan, stir sugar and 1/2 cup water until dissolved

Add raspberries and bring to a boil

Lower heat and simmer for 2 minutes

Strain and refrigerate raspberries and syrup separately

Place a couple of raspberries in each glass

Add 1 tablespoon syrup in each glass

Fill with champagne
