Glowing Skin Tea
Rooibos tea leaves
Orange zest or dried peel
Red clover flower
Chamomile flower
Hibiscus flower
*Burock (root)
*Cinnamon stick
(Try it iced)
Steeping:
Use about 1 1/2 teaspoons per cup of boiling water
Placing in a strainer basket or infuser
Pour the hot water in your teapot and steep for at least 5 minutes
Note: For more delicate plants, flowers, leaves and stalks
Boiling the water and then steeping them for about 5 minutes or longer will do well to bring out the flavors
But if you are using any of the sturdier types of roots, barks or seeds
You should allow these to simmer directly in the water for up to 30 minutes, and then strain
Add to steeping remaining ingredients
You can also create teas for use in your bath
This is a wonderful way to relax and get a great night’s sleep
Try adding powdered milk, Epsom salts or baking soda
